Childcare Ministries
Our Partner in Kyampisi, Uganda
Kyampisi Childcare Ministries stands as a powerful force of hope and healing in Uganda. Their mission is to protect and care for children who have suffered abuse, neglect, and the horrors of child sacrifice. KCM provides a safe refuge for these children, offering shelter, education, healthcare, and a chance for a new life.
The Fight Against Child Sacrifice
KCM has been at the forefront of the battle against child sacrifice in Uganda.
Through direct intervention, education, and advocacy, KCM are taking a stand to protect children from the horrifying practices of ritualistic child sacrifice. They raise awareness, work with law enforcement, and provide vital services to rescue and care for vulnerable children. Each child saved represents a victory in their fight against this barbaric practice.
KCM's Lifesaving Work
The work of KCM has already made a significant impact in the lives of hundreds of children. Through their Rehabilitation Home and Rock Hill School, survivors of neglect and violence have found healing, education, and hope for a better future. The organisation walks alongside these children on their path to recovery, offering the love and care they deserve. For those in critical condition, KCM provides long-term care and a nurturing family environment.
Child Protection and Rescue
KCM is actively involved in rescuing children from dangerous and abusive situations, particularly from the horrifying reality of child sacrifice. Their teams collaborate with local authorities, police, and communities to ensure that vulnerable children are protected and safe. KCM provide immediate shelter and care, ensuring the children are kept out of harm’s way while their healing process begins.
Rehabilitation for Child Survivors
KCM’s Rehabilitation Home offers a safe, nurturing environment for children who have survived unspeakable trauma, including child sacrifice. Here, they receive the medical care, psychological therapy, and spiritual support they need to heal. KCM ensure that each child receives individualised care to help them recover physically and emotionally, providing them with the strength to rebuild their lives.
Rock Hill School for Local Children & Survivors
Through Rock Hill School, KCM provides education to children in the Kyampisi area, including survivors of child sacrifice. The school offers a cheerful and welcoming environment, where children receive both academic learning and life skills training. This empowers them to break free from the cycle of poverty and build a future filled with hope.
Healthcare and Wellbeing
KCM ensures that children have access to essential healthcare through the Weema Clinic and Rehabilitation Home. From addressing urgent medical needs to providing long-term, trauma-informed care, KCM is dedicated to the well-being of every child. This helps children heal from the scars of their past and build healthier, more hopeful tomorrows.
Legal Advocacy & Justice
KCM supports the legal process in seeking justice for children who have been victims of child sacrifice. They collaborate with local and national law enforcement agencies to ensure that perpetrators are held accountable and that justice is served. Their advocacy efforts also include pushing for stronger child protection laws and better resources for children’s rights across Uganda.
Community Education & Awareness
KCM works tirelessly to raise awareness and educate communities about child sacrifice, child trafficking, and other forms of abuse. They believe that prevention is just as important as rescue, and through awareness campaigns, KCM equip local communities with the knowledge they need to protect their children.
