Completed and Ongoing Projects
We’re proud of the life-changing projects we’ve been able to support thanks to the generosity of our donors. Together, we’ve created safe spaces where children can heal, grow, and thrive, giving them the hope and opportunities they deserve.
Building Hope
Each of these initiatives was carefully planned and built from the ground up in collaboration with our partner organisations in East Africa. From purchasing land to overseeing construction, we were on the ground, ensuring that these projects were designed to meet the unique needs of the children and communities they serve.
Here are some of the remarkable initiatives that your support has brought to life, leaving an enduring impact on countless lives.
The Weema Clinic
The Weema Clinic provides essential medical care to children and families in the Kyampisi area. With affordable healthcare and maternity services available close to home, families no longer have to travel far or go without the treatment they need — leading to healthier, more hopeful lives.
The Rehab Home
KCM’s Rehabilitation Home is a sanctuary for children rescued from abuse, neglect, and child sacrifice. With trauma-informed care, it provides a nurturing environment where children can heal, learn, and grow, offering counseling, nutrition, safe housing, physical rehabilitation, and emotional support.
The Residence
The home provides a loving, stable environment for vulnerable children and young mums. It offers more than just shelter—it’s a place where mums and babies find hope, safety, and a new beginning. With access to education, healthcare, and emotional support, the residents receive everything they need to grow and thrive.
The Farm
The campus farm provides fresh, nutritious produce for the children and surrounding community. It also supports the home’s operations, creating a self-sustaining environment while giving employment to local residents. This initiative supports the children’s growth, promotes long-term food security, and strengthens the livelihoods of those in the community.
New Seasons School
Built in the heart of a challenging slum, New Seasons Primary and Senior School provides free education to children who might otherwise never attend school. This initiative offers hope, safety and opportunity, equipping children with the skills they need to break the cycle of poverty.
BCM HQ
The BCM office is crucial for managing New Seasons School and coordinating street outreach in the community. It also allows the team to provide urgent care to those struggling in the slums. The community turns to BCM for both immediate assistance and ongoing care in times of crisis.
Help Keep the Doors Open
All of these projects rely on the generosity of our donors to continue operating, as none receive government funding. Each initiative faces significant ongoing needs, such as replacing broken or worn-out equipment, maintaining facilities, and covering staff wages. These costs are essential to keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring that the children and communities receive the care and support they need.

“As the daughter of a doctor, I've always understood the importance of healthcare in transforming lives. Funding the construction of the Weema Clinic was a way to honour my father's legacy and make a tangible difference in a community that truly needs it. Knowing that this clinic will provide life-saving care and support to so many fills my heart with pride.”
